My Poetry…
I Welcome You
I welcome your energy, your grace,
Your depth
And your power
Your will, your justice, your rage
I honour you
I honour my mother, all mothers, all grandmothers
And those who lived before
And the sacred wombs I live through
I honour you
I Welcome You
I welcome your energy, your grace,
Your depth
And your power
Your will, your justice, your rage
And your desire
I welcome your tears and your laughter
Your need to be looked after
Your fits of anger and your natural disasters
I welcome your love and acceptance and
Grounded transcendence
Your sensual devotion and fiery emotion
I welcome your truth and your pain
You courage and your shame
And as for guilt and fear You can surrender them here
I invite you to trust in being free
To fly with all that you are
And have been
And will ever be
I honour you
I honour my mother, all mothers, all grandmothers
And those who lived before
And the sacred wombs I live through
I honour you
I honour the sisters from the past, in the now and yet to come
I honour the work that you are doing
The knowing that we are one
I honour you
I honour the cycles of my womb
I honour the life between my hips
The fire from heavy doom
The strength that moves my lips
I honour you
I honour the grace that lets light in
And the love that lets light out
I honour the shaking in the dark
And the glowing truth in my heart
I honour the roots, the ground, my feet
The wind, rain, cold and heat
I honour the drum that shows me life
And the magic of the beat
I honour the magic
I honour you
I honour the cycles of the moon
I honour the focus of the sun
I honour the words, the song, the dance
The silence
